Get to bed early, heal, and pace yourself - 181

I have been sick since New Years with a fever and head and now chest cold. I have only been up for exercising 3 days since it all hit me. First sinus, then scratchy throat, then complete fever, and the cold completely dropped into my lungs. What a time I have had. I am so anxious to get moving, but my Dr said I won't feel great right away. And DH and DD just put our Christmas gift to each other, the Treadmill, together. I got on antibiotics on Wednesday. Yesterday, I stepped out for a short walk, but felt the desire to keep moving and went 3.5 miles around the lake, a nearby lake. I didn't at all feel as if I'd over done it. And felt the adrenaline or endorphins at the end, which mad me feel great. And tonight, one errand, home, cooked dinner, and I am exhausted. I am just sparking, and heading off to bed.
I know what I need to do to keep myself in the game. Don't take myself out, by overdoing anything, and certainly don't get injured.
Just go to bed early, keep on healing, and pace myself.
