Disappointed with my results so far this year ...

Hi everybody

emoticon A rather disappointing weigh-in this morning.
I seem to still be in weight-maintenance mode. My weight this morning is
EXACTLY the same as on NewYear's day: 211.8 lbs

emoticon I will need to force myself to get in at least 30 mins of
intense cardio (sweating and out-of-breath kind of workout) every day.

emoticon I am feeling a little down the dumps, but I am not quitting.
I am determined to keep pushing till my weight starts to go down again.

    You did not gain weigh - and that is positive! You are correct to step up the cardio, that is probably all that is needed to nudge you along. Same thing here! We Can do it! Just move a bit more this next week! Woo HOO! emoticon

    It will happen mine isn't coming down like I think it should since I have cut out candy I was eating like crazy over the holidays!! ??. We will get our weight off!!??

    You didn't gain so that is a good start! You can do this, remember little changes add up quickly and keep you motivated! Going at it to hard and too fast can cause a mental block leaving you exhausted and wanting to quit! I didn't loose a pound my first 3 months of starting my healthy way of life, instead I just learned how to eat better (slowly tweaked my diet and increased my activity level), when I mastered that I increased my exercise and wham, 6 months later 58 lbs gone! Went from walking a mile to now running several miles at a time 3 days a week! I feel great and did it in such a way that I can sustain the change! I think weight loss is more mental than anything, give yourself time to digest each change so that the weight loss isn't temporary. Bless you on your journey!

    You can do it. Make that time for yourself. Break your goal into small goals. Just take one day at a time. I know you can do it stay strong
