A&I Challenge - Week 2 of January '17

Today was a good day for active relaxation. No intense cardio today because my legs are still bothering me. It is a lot better than yesterday, not really painful or even aching anymore. But it still feels like pins and needles like going to sleep, and feeling really unstable on my legs.
I concentrated on feel-good exercise today. Stretching and flexibility, walking, and strength training (body weight exercises) focusing mainly on my hips and my lower abdomen (10 mins at a time), and leg exercises all throughout the day for a few mins
(2-3 mins) at a time..
I also focused on weight loss guided meditations. They are pretty good and I do feel the effect for me. Most of them seem to work on metabolism and healthy habits, others work with affirmations for motivation and a positive self-image, but I especially like the ones that help me be consistent with exercising and actually enjoying it.
My goals for the 2nd week of January are still pretty much the same.
- Accountability (logging everything on SP and visiting the team challenge chat room regularly) and regular blogging if only about the day's results.
- Consistency for exercises: mainly daily stretching and flexibility, and strength exercises.
A daily walk outside as long as it is not raining hard or iced over, which here in N.Texas actually should be almost every day. And cardio exercise where I get totally out of breath is optional, as far I feel I really want to put some time into it.
Today was a really warm day. 80+ F as a high. Tomorrow the temperatures are supposed to be dropping by about 30 F with a cold wind gradually picking up, but it will still be dry.
By the weekend a cold front will be coming through with rain storms (about 100% precipitation expected) and a high of 40 F on Saturday and high 50s on Sunday.
Later tonight I will visit friends pages and drop off some Spark gifts.
