Focus on Health and the Weight Comes Too

I realized that I haven't weighed again since I came back this time. I'm fine with that since losing weight isn't my focus (although I do have a ticker down there with a goal). I grabbed the scale this morning just after breakfast and I'm down 3.4 pounds. Yay! I'm not TRYING to lose weight. I'm TRYING to stay healthy and keep my blood sugar under control. Yet as I focus on health the weight is coming too. Since most people gain weight on the meds I take I'm especially pleased to see this result. I hit the mid-range of my calories most days. Some days over some days under but MOST days I'm making the right choices and my body is healing. TRUST. THE. PROCESS. Seriously. Trust the process. Be patient and trust the process. Focus on making healthier choices and the weight will follow. Even if it doesn't you're nourishing your body better and your improving your health. And that's the truly important thing.
