1-1-2017 Things past and plans for the future :D

Well another year has gone by..........whoa what a year for me.
Surgery, changes in me and how I see myself, trips, in hospital for 10 days, maintenance, learning to de-stress and accepting that I cant change all the things I want to, seeing this country change and worried, and lastly finding happiness within me. What a year past!!!!!!! Oh yes there is more small things that all added to this year past but those are lessons learned.

It is time to look forward to the new year, it will also have it challenges and successes to see.

First I started last year at about 155 and have begun this year 155.8. That is a little heavier that I want to be. So setting a goal to get to 143-145. Oh not by end of year but in the next couple months. I can do that. So what is the plan?

Plan for exercise is to add 15 minutes extra strength at least 5-6 times a week, this is beyond going to Curves 4 times a week. Also get back to walking at least 3 times a week. Do Chi Tai at least 3 times a week. And yes to have a rest day!

Plan for diet is to plan a couple light days a week, eating nutritious but light meals. Then to go right back to my healthy eating around 1200-1300 calories. Keep working this rotation for one week and the next to keep to 1200-1300 or more if needed for one week. Keep doing this for the month of Jan and then assess and make changes as needed.

For water drinking keep to 6-8 glasses just water each day, also can have a couple of my iced chai tea lattes ( make these at home and used almond milk and splenda, yummy treats but low in calories.) Sleep to get at least 7 hours a night more if I can.

Attitude well this will not change from year to year its a I CAN DO IT SPIRIT, I know what i can do and will not stop ever. Healthy is my goal and living that way will be my life. No the journey does not end when you get to a goal weight!!! This is a life long journey to not only getting but keeping our good health. I am determined, patient, persistent and most of all I believe in me, so I know success in living a happy healthy life is mine for the taking,

I began the weight loss journey 2001 for health reasons, then in 2009 I started here on SP again but I have not stopped since I joined SP and did last year reach a healthy weight. I started in 2001 at 330-350 lbs(lost nearly 100 lbs until 2007) and in 2009 at 309 lbs ( am now at 155 with a goal of 145) See it is possible I am nothing special just someone who wanted to be healthy for my sons and then added husband but most now for ME! I BELIEVED, I knew it could be done, I just had to work at it! Not always easy to keep to that but I keep working it and it did happen.
