According to my blog, it's been 1186 days ago. So that's somewhere around October 2013. Things have changed. Jobs have changed a few times now. Weight has constantly changed. Last year I was doing great at going to Yoga on a consistent basis. I'm hoping to get back into that once I move. Oh Yeah, I'm about a week away from closing on my first house! Which means I'm moving out of my parents' house which always has cookies and junk in it. I'm excited to have full control over what I'm eating. OK I've bought food and made my own things. But coming home when the dinner they made is ready, I don't really want to have to put together another dinner.
I'm at 230 pounds. Grand scale of things, I'm still down 20 pounds, but at the same time, I'm up 17 pounds from my low of 213. I guess there are two sides to every coin.
Eventually, I'd like to get down to 170. It was the number my doctor and I agreed on. He originally wanted me down to 150 (was at 250 at the time). I said I don't know if I'd look healthy at that and shot back 190. So we compromised at the goal of 170.
In the last year I've developed crazy headaches and migraines. I assume from stress. We've tried a number of treatments to work on the management of pain when it happens. Found a really great one, even lost weight on it. Then I lost insurance. Finished out the drugs, tapered off. Headaches came back. Last week I had a 6 day headache. It went away, and is starting to creep back.
I guess I'll talk about my elephant in the room. My weight. I've always struggled with it. I was teased and tormented for it as a child. It wasn't till college that I got friends who weren't pencil thin and could share clothing and do girly things like that. It was kind of exciting. I graduated college in 2009 at 230 pounds. So In one sense I'm back to where I started?
I don't drink soda. I Binge water while I'm at work. I normally drink between 2 and 4 liters of water while at work. Today I'm at about 1.5 and its almost noon. I need to get moving again and I need to get tracking again. I use the leaf fitness counter. So my goal there is to hit 6000 steps a day.
Goal 1: Track 7 Days in a row.
Goal 2: Yoga 3 times in a week
Goal 3: Profit?
I'll work on the goals past Yoga and Food Tracking later. Let me lay some good foundation for this journey.
Side note: I don't like how my size 14 pants are fitting. They're a bit tighter then I'd prefer. So we are going to work on that.
