Obviously, I Have a Problem Blogging

Wednesday, November 23, 2016

It has been a long time since I posted a blog on here. Yikes! I really need to get with it. Blogging (which I am not really good at) is therapeutic because you can get all your innards out! LOL! Know what I mean? I have been told I should write a blog because I have so many stories about my youngest. He is growing up on Facebook and what I mean is his life story is there. He is eight years old and every little funny thing said or done is there. I really should go back and copy paste everything into a book. I believe when he was about 13 months old God decided to assign extra guardian Angels to him because he has zero fear! Zero!! Oi! I am 50 years old and I had Adam when I was 42 so I know with his personality that God really does have a sense of humor! I can not imagine life without my boys! My other one is 14 going on 25!!! We homeschool and he is high school age so I am actually loving the biology and algebra that I am doing with him. I never thought I would say that about algebra because really in high school we just did not click!
My boys are why I am blogging at this moment. I really need to get serious. I am 141 but need to ideally drop down to 120 - basically 21 pounds. I am 5`2" so you do the math. I am just stuck. I believe it is called addicted to sugar! I am also addicted to bread! I know you all know what I mean! So, right now, I plan on making a commitment to cut back at least half the sugar and bread I consume. For the moment I say half because let's face it - it is the holiday season! To say I am cutting everything out just will not work! It would fail before it even starts. My friend and I were going on a mission trip (in college) and we got this big idea we were going to cut out the sugar. We did for just a few days before being ordered to eat some sweets or pack our bags! LOL! We were not fun to be around which is really sad on a mission trip! Anyhoo, it is all in moderation! I can do this and so can you! One step at a time is all it takes! I am super tired all the time and hubby says I have begun snoring so here is to getting my energy back by taking off that 21 pounds! Hopefully, the snoring will stop too!
Hopefully, I will see you soon and not in two years. I will try my best to begin writing three or four days a week! Blessings on this journey we call life!

Halving your bread and sugar intake sounds do-able. I would be happy to be at your weight, as I am also 5'2", but have more pounds than you to lose. Seems like I am stuck at this weight and have been there for years and years. Ach! It's almost as much as I weighed when I delivered my second son, and he is 31.

Sleeping on your stomach might help the snoring. emoticon

You have the desire to eat less sugar and bread plus the motivation to write more blogs. This is great. Now think of these desires as homework. You expect your boys to do their homework so think I must do mine so I can achieve my A.
