Having a Hard Time

I'm having such a difficult time this week. Well actually started last week. I'm trying to stay focused and lose this weight. But it seems I'm just not getting it done, making excuses for myself and not staying focused. I don't feel like exercising and I know I have to. It would make me feel so much better. I'm writing this out so I can remember this and I have resolved that starting tomorrow I will start exercising at least 20 minutes a day! I hearby make this pledge!

    Hi Joy,

    I am limited to my exercise due to chronic pain and other issues. But I make sure I do one thing more than yesterday and on a good day I will push and do 2 more things that the day before. My doctor told me about a women he took care of that was morbidlly obese like me and all she did was walk to her mail box and back each day for a week. Then the following week she would do it 2 x's and the week after that 3x's He said that is all she did not dieted or anything for the first 3? months I think it was anyway she lost about 35-40 pounds just doing that so it can be possible to just do that my mail box is kinda far because we have a 40ft ramp on our house for my son's w/c and you must go out 20 ft and turn to go down the ramp and then down the driveway I could use that senario as well.

    But you get the point it can be something as simple as that. . she then cut out goodies and lost even more and eventually starting walking around her neighborhood too she felt that much better.

    when you go out. park father away from the store and you can get more steps in that way

    before shopping, walk the stores and enjoy the lights and sounds of the stores great exercise getting those steps in

    when standing around the house, do squats or dance

    Make an appointment your phone or your planner for exercise and stick to it just like you were going to an IRS audit ... i hope you find your mojo again soon emoticon
