Day One

Welcome to my Re-Start! Yesterday I woke up to my highest weight ever of 307.3 pounds and I didn't like it one bit. Last week I went on a work trip to Chicago and by the end of that trip I could barely walk due to how much weight I was lugging around! I said enough is enough and I started to make a plan.

I have decided to drop out of all of my current and future challenges for the time being and use that energy and focus on myself. It was a really hard decision because I feel like I'm letting my teams down but I have to look out for me. I have had some people understand and others have not and that's ok...I understand. With that being said I've decided to come back to SP like I did 3 years ago and return to the basics. No teams, no challenges, just me and my trackers. I put in my new goals and go my new calorie ranges and plan to start being more active slowly starting with walking and low impact cardio and hopefully moving back up to what I was doing 3 years ago when I lost 42 pounds.

Being 300 pounds is not fun. It is hard work to walk, move, get up, work, and just live. I'm done doing this to myself. I don't have any goals except to increasingly get better with my eating and exercise and to lose or maintain each week. I don't care how long this takes me...I just know I need to do this.

So today is Day 1.
