Spark Coach Assignment - What do you eat before or after your workout?

So my Spark Coach assignment is . . . .
What's your pre- and post-workout fueling plan? Jot down your ideas in a quick blog post for future reference.
I start my morning with water and my vitamins then do my workout - week days 30 minutes on the bike and on weekends a 30 min walk.
Then I eat either my oatmeal with dried apples and almonds or a zero belly fat smoothie.
I find that I do much better exercising on an empty stomach!
Now I need to incorporate some evening workouts!
