I can usually drink my daily requirement of water, however on days where I can't make it to the gym, I notice that it slows down a bit.
So yesterday, because I was giving my hamstring a break, I didn't go to the gym. However, by 2:00, I notice I had only had 32 oz of water. Yikes! When my son got home he asked if we can play the memory game (solitaire for kids).
Of course I agreed. Just as we were laying out all the cards, I realized I could turn this into a drinking game. Every time I missed a match I would take a drink of water. It was actually really fun. He started doing it with me and enjoyed reminding me each time to 'DRINK' - LOL. This may come back to haunt me when he is in his college years.
Needless to say, I manage to drink another 32 oz within an hour while spending quality time with my boy. We even played it again after dinner.
And now that I think about it, I sure hope he doesn't go back to school next week telling his teacher he played a drinking game with his mom. Ha!
