Sick Kitty

I know this seems minor, but please pray for our kitten, Rascal (about 2 months old). Dad went out this morning and found her laying unresponsive. He thought she was dead. Moved her and noticed that she was jerking, but barely breathing. She had been bitten by ants.

He put her in his old truck with the window down and some water. She was still alive this afternoon. I didn't find out till about 7 and checked on her. She was still breathing, hard but shallow. She felt hot also. I laid hands on her and spoke life into her body in Jesus' name. Sounds like she has a cold too - kind of coughing/rattling. Dad said that was the death rattle, but I noticed that another cat (a stray that we've never been able to touch) has the same sound. All cats in our neighborhood have allergies (we live in the middle of a pecan grove).

I carried her for about an hour and prayed over her. She is listless but she will open one eye when I sing. Elijah loves this baby kitten. When Elijah sings, she meows, and when he stops, she nuzzles his chin, telling him to start again.

He had one a few years back that died and acted just like Rascal. Just said the other day that God had brought him another kitten like Hiccup (named from How to Train Your Dragon). The devil is not going to take Rascal from Elijah.
