this is something my years of dieting instilled in my brain. you are either on a diet or off one. any little slip made me feel I was a failure and so gave me full permission to go on a bender eating all the wonderful things I had not been able to have on my diet. I would even plan this. spark people has taught me that I am not on a diet anymore but I have a healthy eating plan. yes I sometime mess up ( and even sometimes it is planned) but I now know to get right back on track. I tend to follow the 80% rule and eat healthy all week. for my 20% I eat out and make good choices but will share a dessert or indulge in one of my favorite meals meatloaf this is working for me. I want to lose 40 lbs in 2 days lol but I know that this way when I take off that one lb per week it will stay off and not come back along with company
