Picked up extra work this week and last week. My office is only about 150 square feet with not much room to move around and mostly desk work. No official breaks in a 12 hour period, can get out if not too busy but only briefly. Often I find it difficult to get my steps in and now that it gets dark early not much evening walking going on after I get home at 8 pm. Because of this my brain made my body a commitment to get to CrossFit on the days I am off or work 1/2 day. Went on Friday and did weighted step ups, snatches and good cardio. Was pleasantly sore over the weekend but not debilitated. Today brain made me go and body did good-squat cleans, push ups, goblet squats, burpees (the bane of my existence), step ups (no box jumps for me!) rowing and 150 single jumps. Set a PR for time probably because I lowered my weight to keep good form, but flew through the cardio so I would have less burpees LOL! Now on to my day, rest day tomorrow (work) and then back at it Wednesday. My goal is to go three times this week-Monday, Wednesday and Friday so I am ready for the weekend.
