Gel Injections for My Knee

Friday, October 14, 2016

Well, once I got my foot fixed, I thought I'd be golden. However, my knee didn't like that my foot was fixed, so it thought it needed to act out.

I just received my 2nd of 3 gel injections for my knee. It hurts, no lie. The first one really didn't, but the 2nd... Different story. I thought I was going to slap the doctor on his bald head. :D He missed the joint capsule the first time so, of course, he had to wiggle it around in there.

Anyway, now I have to stay quiet for 48 hours and then I'm back to exercise. Gel injection #3 is the 24th. I have noticed it is better, but it didn't have anywhere to go but up. Here's hoping that it continues to improve.

Hoping the next injection doesn't hurt as bad.I have degenerative spinal disc disease and ostroarthritis in every part of my body and Rhumatoid arthritis in my hands.I had a series of 3 injections in my back between my vertabrae. Oh that was fun...NOT He couldn't get the needle inbetween one so he had to go to another spot. That worked for about a year..no more back pain. But now I have it all the time and I will not get the injections again. I'm on tylenol arthritis medicine and if that doesn't work I take 2 Tramadol.

I wish continued improvement for you. emoticon
