Too Old for This....

Thursday, September 15, 2016

I have figured out that I am too old to be running on only 5 hours of sleep. I had to get up early this morning and head to work, and then after work, I had to go to my best friend's son's work for "Friends & Family" night. Then I had to go home, cook supper, clean up everything, and then get ready for tomorrow. Oh, did I forget to mention that my oldest grandson had Grandparent's Day Lunch today, and my department at work had a Football Bash, so I had to rush to eat lunch with my grandson and then rush back to be a part of the party at work. I know it sounds like I'm complaining, but I'm not. I've just figured out I am way too old to be trying to do all the running I did today on less than 8 or 9 hours sleep. Oh well, I'm off to bed now & hope you all have a great night.

I say sleep when you can an keep enjoying all the fun life can throw at you because tomorrow is never promised.
I wake up between 6 and 6:30 no matter what time I go to bed.... 9, 11, 2.... that darn internal alarm hasn't learned that I am now retired and can do what I want.

That being said, I am off to go help my DIL clean house for granddaughters birthday party! Enjoy your Friday!
