Day 4 of the comeback

Monday, September 05, 2016

I did a little better with the walking, and went over my calorie allowance by 6 calories, so I figure that's close enough. I probably would have stayed within the limit except DH and I made applesauce. Oh, my, that stuff is GOOD! I had no idea it took so many apples to make a pint of applesauce. We peeled about 3 million apples and made 8 pints. We still have several million left, but I had to take out a little time to shop for fabric at JoAnn's big Labor Day sale. I recently started making quilts. Even though I have been sewing all my life, I never made quilts before. It's so much fun! And, it keeps me out of the refrigerator. Always a plus.

I am SO ready for day 5.

Good for you! Walking and keeping in your calorie range!
I can't imagine all the work going into all your canning and applesauce making! You will be so happy this winter! And what a wonderful thing to be making quilts!!! It sure does keep you busy and away from eating...excellent! You will have to post pictures of your quilts for us to see! I'd love that!
Have a great day...and week ahead! Keep up the great job!
