Time to get back on track with a shake up

Here I go again and that's why emoticon

It works and when you get to a stand still emoticon you just find your emoticon and start again with something new.

Spark People gives us sound nutrition, tools like the trackers, the new premium which even includes Spark Coach and so much more.

The first 1.5 years I lost 50+ pounds emoticon and then got off track emoticon.
The next year I had MAJOR STRESSERS attacking my motivation and loss of focus. Serious family health issues and insane work issues can be derailing.

Work is much better and the health issues just have to be dealt with. I am not going to fall back into bad habits - it can happen tooooooooo fast - I know I've been there most of my younger life.

I found a new plan - yes it uses the word diet but it also talks about life long habits that make sense to me. Zero Belly Diet - emoticon Don't scold cause it talks about losing 16 pounds in the first 14 days. The first 7 days include an optional cleanse. It is lower calories but not that drastic and only 7 days. You have smoothies for breakfast and lunch and a cleanse dinner and an afternoon snack - no gluten or dairy during this 7 days. YOu also include cardio and circuit training!

I have made it through day one so 6 more to go emoticon

I can so do this!

I'm going to the kitchen to make my Strawberry Banana smoothie - I'll keep you posted!

    I still like the smoothie but have let stress get the best of me several times but the great thing is . . . . Ijump right back in.

    've lost 4 pounds about 10 times emoticon

    I do love the smoothies and they help me get in my fiber.!

    Sometimes you do have to do something to shake up your system so it reboots! I really hope this works for you! Please do keep us posted! I was so off track that I'm trying my hardest just to get back to the spark program - that will reboot my system pretty good for now - then when I hit the inevitable plateau, I will have your experience stuck in my little bag of tricks!!

    emoticon KUDOS! for moving on to something new and not just keeping with the "same-o" and complaining that it's not working for you. Saw your weigh-in and looks like you're working the program & it IS working for you!! I'm excited for you!! Know what a bummer that regain is.

    Good for you! Looking forward to hearing how it works for you.

    I tell you, my recent experience with the 3 days of protein/raw greens to eliminate inflammation related fluid was shocking. Over the course of those 3 days my calorie intake was incredibly low which terrified me, quite frankly. But, I was being medically supervised and I trust these folks. So, 3-days and 4.6 lbs later (I was told it is not unusual to see folks lose 10 lbs ... I didn't have that fluid to lose.), my body was feeling much better with that inflammation related fluid out. The other amazing thing to me was that despite the extremely low calorie intake I was not hungry. No cravings. No hunger. Incredible to me!
