Reset your mind and your body will follow.

I've been maintaining my weight for a year. +/- 5lbs fluctuation but fairly maintained. Until I injured myself in April while playing derby.
I was not cleared for any exercise for 3 months, then only light for another 2 weeks after that. In that time period, I gained back 25lbs.
I fully acknowledge that I did that to myself. However, the more I tried to fix the problem the worse it became. The number line, the chart, everything was just getting to my head and spirit.
Tuesday I decided to start fresh. I took down my paperclip chain that marked every pound lost. I reset my weight loss on here from my starting point. I declared a fresh start.
I have worked out every day this week with the exception of yesterday. I have stayed within my calories each of those days.
This morning, I weighed in 5lbs lighter than I was at the beginning of this week.
Today I'll drive 3.5 hours to spend 4 hours skating with a friend on the East Coast. Then I'll wake up with her in the morning and hit the beach to go snorkeling. Then I'll drive back to skate in my first bout since I was injured in April.
Sometimes all you need to do is reset your mind and your body will follow.
