Well, I have been tracking calories for a month, but I need to shake things up. Weight doesn't come off as easy as it did when I was 20! Sugar and breads are not my friends. I just realized that the "healthy" kefir I have been drinking daily has 20 grams (5 teaspoons!) of sugar in an 8 ounce serving - ouch! no wonder I keep gaining and losing the same 5 pounds! Time for a shake down (or up). Going to do a modified Paleo - I did full on Paleo once before - did really well in fact, but a little too restrictive. Going to more of Paleo/wheat belly/south beach. Concentrate on lots of fresh fruits and veg. No gluten, grains or sugar. I need to slightly modify, so I can live with it - i.e. my spoonful of sugar in my coffee once a day, cheese occasionally, potatoes occasionally. Stayed tuned!
