Monday in Silver Sneaker class our instuctor reminded us to Keep drinking water, especially on these hot hot days many of us are having. I read that 64 oz. of water, which is 8----8 oz. glasses a day is the amount we need to drink. The water we drink when working out, does not count, since we are replacing it in our system with all the activity we are doing.
Our instructor, said a good rule is " for every 100# person, they should drink 50 oz. of water."
So, that is close to what health articles tell us. So we need to adjust this to our own weight.
Stay hydrated in this HEAT. If you are thirsty, you are already dehydrated.
Stay active and healthy and keep moving. We are lucky to have Spark to encourage us and
all the great people that take the time to write articles and motivate us in so many ways here.
