It's not about just looking good in a little black dress anymore

Picture of me last July.
When I was in my twenties I would have done just about anything to lose weight. I found that low carb diet had work for me. But I still had the poor eating habits of a picky child. We would only eat certain foods. I did a lot of red meat hamburgers , hot dogs, heck the only vegetables I had gotten in my diet were pickled. LOL! The weight still came off. I did go to the gym gained some muscle tone.
Nowadays I still do low carb diet. But I have added foods like fish, grilled chicken, vegetables that I had no clue I could even love. I just started eating fish this year. Which is probably shocking to a lot of people. Always blamed it on the fact that my brother and Dad we go fishing and as they would prep their Catch of the Day my brother would chase me around the room with fish heads. Lol!
Now I am more proud of my cholesterol results then I ever have been of being able to fit into that little black dress. I have since been able to stop my blood pressure medication. I'm looking more into natural ways of taking care of my help rather than the pharmaceutical companies ways. Magnesium has been a great help to my back pain by the way.
I have kind of lost my way for the past few weeks. Messy divorce has had me feeling a bit negative. But I'm starting to realize that when things AR not going so right that's when I really need to step it up and really take care of my health.
I'm starting to realize there's certain things that you can't control in life. But there are certain things that I can do to try and ensure that I am doing everything that I can to be the healthiest that I can be. Including becoming more emotionally stable And more stable Health wise. The two seem to go hand in hand.
