I'm so close I can taste it! I'm pretty sure success tastes like smashed cauliflower and chicken, but maybe I'm wrong. ;)
Okay so a few weeks ago I posted my goals. In that blog I mentioned my initial goal was 10lbs by July 4th weekend, but I had lost 6lbs in the first week so maybe that was setting my sights low so I bumped it up to 15lbs.
I don't know that I'll reach the 15lb mark, but I'm sprinting towards that 10lb mark! I'm less than 2lbs away from achieving it! It makes me more motivated to get there!
Most of this weight loss has been achieved through my eating habits. As I mentioned before, my husband and I have embarked on a paleo diet for the month of June.
I still need to check in on Daniel to see his results, last I checked he was frustrated and didn't think it was working for him and that was over a week ago. :(
After June is over, we'll still need to be eating somewhat paleo. I'm researching 100 days of real food for the month of July.
Yesterday was my husband's birthday and I gave him the option of eating whatever he wanted. He said "No, I want to stick to this." He's so good! I would have jumped at that opportunity in a heart beat! He definitely keeps me motivated! So I made a super veggie based dinner last night, salad, smashed cauliflower, broccoli, with a little bit of chicken. Then for his birthday treat we induldged in a paleo key lime pie! Oh wowzer was that good! It's one of the few desserts that really does taste decadent. It's mostly nut based, so you do have to be careful with how much you consume, but man oh man it's delicious!

So mostly this month has been positive. I'm hoping Daniel sees results soon, if he hasn't already.
Once we hit the 10lb mark, I'll start going for the 20lb mark. Then I'll be back at my wedding weight and *praying hard* I'll be fitting in that Anthropologie dress in time for that wedding!
