For those of you that have been reading my blogs you know I decided to go vegan a couple of months ago. I made this switch for health reasons, I cannot process meat properly and end up with bloat, pain, nausea. The same with dairy except with dairy comes swollen face and other weird things like my eyes running and congestion. Anyway, the decision to switch is not regretted. So, I have found that during my menses this month I had serious craving for the foods I gave up. I tried them and was very regretful afterwards.
So, yesterday I ran my first half marathon afterwards I had a slice of pepperoni pizza, and a cookie the race was serving after ever since I have been in so much pain and feeling nauseous. I am so regretful and I realize that it is not worth giving into cravings.
