As I have gone through this through the years I have had a hard time losing weight.
I have always at healthy food and drink water but losing the weight just was not coming off .
Due to multiple medications and multiple medical conditions that can cause weight gain, and or make it hard to lose weight and or make me hungry alll the time weight loss is a pain in the rear-end.
I had asked doctors what I could do to help and they would tell me just these generic diets that I could do to lose weight . I would try those that caused even more frustration.
Low- Carb
So when I tried the low carb diet it was with my brother because he had to go on it for medical reasons. So i had seen he was losing weight with it so I thought I would give it a try. So I did I went bite for bite as he did and yet I drank the water he did not he drank the the zero cokes . Through our time on it i gained weight on it and he continued to lose. Though losing weight was not the point of him on it .. Go figure . So I tossed that idea.
TJ Miracle Soup
It was a nice diet it helped my dad because it was a heart healthy diet and he has a pacemaker. He loses weight with it I thought I would give it a go . I had no problem sticking to it . I could follow it easily and I ate the low calorie parts of each food group. No luck in this area either my dad on the other hand it works .
Low Calorie Diet
I tried the going for just your general 1200 calorie intake diet but yet again I only gained weight and could not lose weight.
Through all these YES I DID exercise . I knew eating right was not the only way to lose weight.
Just like anything thing else everyone is different when I asked one doctor for any ideas they just told me more and more diets I had already tried, the military diet, the paleo diet, the gluten free, elimination diet. That's when I knew I needed yet again do my own trial and error .
Each person's body has different needs . Like mine I have learned does not need extra iron. Yet no doctor told me till I told them about it and how I realized it. Journaling what you eat and if you have medical conditions especially is a great way to determine if you are sensitive to a food.
So now I am in the stage in my health I am in a bed most time.
Miranda's Diet
I watch sodium, low carbs, low sugars, low calories
Get fruit and vegetables in
Drink 8-10 cups of water
Do my physical therapy
Get my sleep
Log my food
Stay positive
Though I know my diet will change as meds change and as my life changes I know that each person has there own diet and not one diet fits everyone.
