Dear Spark Friends,

I will no longer be actively participating in SP. I have been unhappy with many of the changes over the past couple of years and the changes to my Spark page is the final straw. I personalized my page to be the way I wanted it and hoped that it reflected my personality. SP has seen fit to change the pages to a blah, cookie cutter thing without my permission.

I have been a member for several years and will miss my Spark Friends but I find SP has made it more difficult to stay in touch with friends and many have already left the site. The points are meaningless unless you purchase their vision of the fitbit, or pay to be part of a group.

I would appreciate anyone who would take over my Spark team.

If you would like to stay in touch please send Spark mail.

I am very sad.

    I registered my disdain (and posted your blog) on the Site/Technical Help Message Board, Carol.

    I'm very sad about the new design which totally lacks aesthetic appeal. I won't leave because the resources are valuable, but I don't enjoy going to my page anymore.

    You have the wisdom of the years to share with those who are struggling
    to find a healthier lifestyle. Your support has meant so much to me and
    I cherish each and every comment, hug and tip that has made the
    journey so amazing. The new page was quite a shock but we will

    I agree that the new spark page style is awful and felt like leaving myself but I have so many friends here. Stay for a while. Maybe they will change it back if we all complain enough (or enough people leave because of it...) I've seen many negative comments about the new style and only one positive so far...

    Please reconsider. The facade of any page is meaningless. It's the journey to a healthier you that is of the utmost importance.

    Change is the only constant. Give yourself a few days to adjust.

    Spark People is an amazing resource. So are you. Please don't leave.
