For Real-sies This Time

This is not a real blog, but just a post taken from my Facebook page. I had a very sweet Spark Mail from a Sparker, and I realized I have gotten so caught up in posting on instagram and Facebook that I have neglected Spark, so from time to time I might share one of those posts here. The update from this is day 2 is going alright, I am working on it LOL.



Let's be real... I have so many ideas and 0 follow through. I try something for a little while, it gets hard, or life seems to get in the way and I just forget about it and quit, talk about depressing and kind of embarrassing LOL! So I figure there's 2 options... I could just quit trying, declare that I am a quitter and stop posting... or I could try again until I get this thing right!
As we were cleaning and organizing, I realized how much food I have in my house. Awesome, yummy food, like pasta, refried beans, rice, and a ton of frozen goodies. So many frozen goodies that when you open the freezer door you better stand back and wait for an avalanche. So instead of eating this yummy food, I am giving into chow runs at work and eating all sorts of greasy ickyness... which only leads to weight gain and quite an epic credit card bill! YIKES!
So my challenge for myself (let's see if I can actually do it for REAL-SIES this time!!!) is to eat what I already have for 28 days. May 13th - June 10th! If you are counting, that's 29 days but May 22nd is my friends bachelorette party and we will be eating out for sure! So that still gives me 28 full days and then I will be leaving to visit my Gammie in Vegas for about a week. The timing is perfect. The goal is to stop spending unnecessary money and to clean out the cupboards.
I have limited myself to 4 staples that I can buy if I run out:
1.) Bananas
2.) Bread (been on a pb&j kick lately)
3.) Lettuce
4.) Almond Milk (For shakes)
I think I need to start leaving my credit card at home! LOL
