Temptation Week!

Oh my! This next week is going to be so challenging for me. I've decided not to weigh myself or start tracking until it is over. Here is what I got going on and how I plan to deal with it:

5/6: Teacher Appreciation Luncheon--- Avoid break room at work completely
5/7: Band Banquet--- Eat light during the day and eat a small portion of the food during the banquet (no bread or dessert)
5/8: Mother's Day--- Enjoy a nice meal without bread or dessert, eat healthy rest of day
5/11: Anniversary Dinner--- TX RoadHouse, eat a small steak and veggies, no bread or dessert
5/13: Trip to Dallas--- Do the best I can, avoid sweets
5/14: Trip to Midland for Sister's baby shower--- small portions of healthiest options, no sweets

That's my plan! Lord help me! Writing this down helps and keeps me accountable. Oh and I had a victory today! Was given a bunch of Lindhor chocolates for teacher appreciation week and I gave them all to my co-worker. WOO HOO! I would've and could've eaten them all in one sitting.

    OH MY! And I thought I was busy! Heee heeee Sounds like you have a great plan going girl! I too find that traveling and our life plans make eating right hard because of where our society has gone with food and eating. But you have SOOOOOOOOOO got this girl! Making plans and planning for those types of days and weeks is very important!

    I'm SO glad you are back with SP! I've missed ya bunches and love that we can get back at this TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Coming to TX in July/August. Hope to visit ya!)

    And make sure you drink plenty of water. Lots of sodium in that restaurant food, no matter what you choose. You can do it! Besides, there are many delicious and healthy dishes you can eat no matter where you are. Happy Everything...Teacher Appreciation, Mother's Day, and Anniversary! emoticon
