Month End Wrap Up

Time for my end of the month wrap up.
My weight loss journey is going well. I am down 18 pounds since January 4.
I am exercising every day. I am consistently getting at least 8.5k steps daily on my Fitbit HR and I am walking at least 2 miles a day. I can now do a 17 minute mile. When I started in January, I was clocking a 24 minute mile.
I am down 2 pants sizes and I have lost 14 inches overall.
My waist is down from 41 inches to 37 inches which is an important measurement for me. It feels like I have a whole new wardrobe since I am getting back into the clothes I grew out of.
My blood glucose and blood pressure are now ALWAYS in the low/normal range. This is a major accomplishment since I was diagnosed as being pre-diabetic in December.
When I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic, my doctor wanted to put me on medication. I refused and instead offered a compromise. I would lose 20 pounds before my 6 month check up in June 2016. I think I will make that goal.
April has been a very good month for me.
