Wow, these blogs really can get away from a person.

Hello everybody. Just a quick note to let you all know I'm still alive.
On 2/29 I began a training regiment with a trainer for kickboxing. Also, I am following a points plan for eating that was borrowed from Weight Watchers but, I am not a WW member.

Since 2/29, I have lost a total of 16 lbs. to date. I am glad about that, but it just seems so far off from where I need to get to. BUT -- I am happy to report that I feel stronger, and can do 30 full sit-ups, my rings are not as tight as they used to be. They were starting to cut into my finger.. But now, it's all good. And as long as I continue to make progress -- I may need to get something put on the rings so they don't fling off during the day.

Also, I have been drinking (or coming close) 1/2 my body weight in water a day. -- and they used to say eight 8-oz. glasses a day!! Apparently, it is supposed to be 1/2 your weight!! I guess if you're only 128 lbs, you can get away with they typical eight 8-oz. glasses.

Well, I need to be getting off to bed now. Got a long day ahead tomorrow.
