From Day 230 to day 1- Am done.

I have been on spark for 230 days as of today. Yes exiting or not . Considering that I have not gained or loss 1lb. As for those of you who don't know my story. I have been fluctuating between 145 to 152 for the past 230 days. So now back to day 1. It is a big step.
No I am not starting over .
I have been documenting my journey and realize that there is only one time that I actually lost weight in 230 days and maintained it for over 1 month. And surprisingly it was when I decided to take a break from dieting and enjoy my thanksgiving/chrismas and new years and party. It was during a time I was "suppose to gain" Since I was in vaca from school, I travelled for 2 weeks and it was the holidays.
Around november last year I decided to take a break from the whole diet/logging food and exercising. I was tired and disappointed, of being tired and disappointed. So I just stopped. I ate small portions sometimes, barely exercised like 1/week or something. Had pretty balanced meals. I have always been a heath conscious person. Never had to work so hard to loose weight until I gained it over 2 years . So I just went back to my old ways which were pretty healthy. This went on for end of November 2015-december .
InJanuary I decided to take my weight. I was 146 from 152. For some its not a lot but for me it was great. I was super exited. And this excitement led me to go back to dieting, logging in my food, calorie counting and exercising . Yes I went back to it hard; and fast-foward to now April I gained it all back. Last week I was pretty dumbfounded and thought that this was insane. The only time in 12 months I lost weight. was when I was not trying to loose weight. So I decided again to stop trying. Its been 3 days now. I found myself slowly getting back to my healthy old good habits. I am still working out- Just because I feel good when I do it and also for the past month I have worked out weekly. So perhaps it is becoming a habit. a good one. So I decided to just relax, lay back and focus on things like facials and doing my nails.

    Don't think of it as a "diet" think of it as a life-style change. You make it happen. Positive attitude helps too. But you have to do what you have to do. I wish you good luck!
