Another weekend speeds on by

Sunday, April 03, 2016

Yesterday was spent cleaning house, doing laundry and grocery shopping. I also got my car washed. I made beef enchiladas for dinner. They turned out great. I slept very well and didn't get up until 8:30 a.m. I think that I needed the rest. My URI is still with me. I was still coughing and hacking this weekend. I hate being sick. I did manage a two mile walk with the dogs. My old man Brawt (15) decided on the third time around the park that he was tired. He laid down and did not move. I picked him up and brought him home. He was tired and I know how that is.

We went to Stephanie's house for dinner. We had hamburgers, mac & cheese, chips and fruit. I did have a little of everything and didn't over do it. I passed on the ice cream Sundays. I had a really low sugar of 69 this afternoon and had a small piece of lemon cake. All the sweets are out of the house now. I'm hopeful to be successful next week with my eating healthy and exercising.

Tomorrow will be the day from hell. We have a big trial on Tuesday that will last through next week. I need to get the exhibits copied, ready and mounted. My exercise plan for next week is ambitious:

1. Monday - Zumba at 6:00
2. Tuesday - Zumba at 6:45
3. Wednesday - Zumba at 7:00
4. Thursday - Hike the Butte (It is supposed to be in the 80s!)
5. Friday - rest
6. Saturday - 9:00 Zumba.

I might replace one of my Zumbas with weights as I need to get back to it. Tomorrow night, I'll swim and sit in the sauna afterwards. I love how relaxed I am after that.

My goal this month is 10 lbs by April 28th.

My other goal is to get up early and walk the dogs around the block.

Great goal setting! I need to be more thoughtful about setting and keeping goals. 10 pounds in a month sounds like a dream to me, but would like to see it happen!
