Spring has sprung----
The grass has riz--
I wonder where the boidies iz!
Here in the North, it's sunny----the sun is warmer--birds are returning--the roads are free of snow---so exciting!
Last week, I had blood work taken----I was petrified that it would show , terrible diseases---
But--(that big "butt" again!)- the random blood sugar showed NO Diabetes--(Yeah!)---and the Thyroid Disease is running perfectly normal, on meds-- Everything else came back normal---Tuesday I return to the Opthamologist for a recheck on the pressure in my eyes---
I fully expect that to still be high---
I know that without "Spark People", the blood work would not be what it is---
Five years ago, I joined Spark ---Altho I still struggle with the weight, I now feel in control of so many bad habits I had--
#1.---I was never consistent with exercise---kinda did it on a hit and miss situation-
#2--Ice cream was my favourite unplanned before bed, food!
#3--I overdosed on diet coke
#4--I never realized that eating healthy with exercise, is a life-long thing--not a short term way to lose weight--then go on with yer old life--
#5---I know the positive impact Spark friends have on your program--
Since March 13th, I have lost 6 pounds--and I know now I will make it!
If I can do this, everyone can----
