Sugar journal day ??

So my sugar cravings have gone down incredibly as of late. It seems that the more I work out, the easier it is to eat healthy. I was actually just at the grocery store and the thought of eating a pint of ice cream sounded pretty unappealing. Chocolate cravings have been happening lately so I may have to come up with a good naturally-sweetened dark chocolate substitute but I'm in no hurry. It doesn't feel like something I have to have now.

    I personally think sugar cravings are the WORST! I quit smoking after 19 years and that was easier than quitting sugar!! I still haven't been able to kick that one. Proud of ANYONE who tries and especially the ones who succeed which is sounds like you're on your way to doing. What I do so that I don't feel quite as bad is I do like Splenda. I don't mind using Splenda as the sugar in a recipe when I'm baking, but my husband requires I put some "real" sugar in it too. Basically I find ways to make my chocolate craving things like brownies, etc with better ingredients. Lets face it there is nothing like chocolate, but there are PLENTY of other things that you can change in a recipe to reduce the calorie intake as well as the sweetness so that you can tend to your craving without giving up on your goals of quitting sugar.
