You can't control everything!

I woke up this morning to the roof "banging"!
It was minus 29C --When it's this cold, the wood contracts--and it makes an extremely loud noise. When it's so cold, we will have sun to-day--no snow---
But it sure plays havoc with your walking routine outside!
My steps are now around 6000 daily---Dropping a clock on my toe, sent the steps down to about 2000---then there was the flu----then son#3, the Policeman came out --WITH HIS DOGS_-to snow blow---(Why do kids think they should bring their canines to Gramma's?)
So many reasons to just cut back on the fitness routine-
But (the big "BUTT")---I am proud this week---everyday, I've made the 6000 steps---
It takes some planning---working on it off and on all day-
And journaling has kept the calories under what I should have!
So, it's a lot of "mind over matter"----It would be so easy to just let the fat hang out--give up----But-----Sparkly people try hard----
We are determined to be healthy!--
