Exercise cliff

Tuesday, February 09, 2016

I heard on the radio today that this week is when Ppl go over the exercise cliff. This is bc of the superbowl, valentine's day next week. I thought this really gives me a good incentive to not fall off that cliff myself. I feel like I will keep pushing myself even no matter how much I want to give up bc the numbers aren't going down even with exercising every day plus eating healthy. But I'm determined not to fall off the cliff like so many due at this time! I will keep going strong! Eventually the numbers will start to show that I am working out and eating healthy. I just need to be patient. I hope that anyone else reading this, if u feel like u are going to fall off the cliff. Add me as a friend! We can cheer and encourage each other on! We can do this!!!

Your are doing GREAT!!! I took a planned tumble, we traveled all weekend culminating with a superbowl party. I did great for breakfast and lunch, dinner was harder. But I knew I wasn't going to stress. Came home on Monday evening, and I'm back on track again. There will be no chocolates for me for Valentines day, hubby is forbidden to buy them :D and I try to eat good food all the time while staying in my range, so I'm not worried about a big dinner that day. I may see if I can find some fresh berries for my salad though, that was delicious.

Thanks for spreading the reminder that this 1 week span sees people falling off the cliff, and that they have a life line they can grab. And you know what, at least its a metaphoric cliff and if they do go over, all they have to do, is get right back up again and get back on track.

Yes, this is the time people start to drop their new year's resolutions - especially working out! They've made it Valentine's day and they've made some progress, so now they stop. The good thing is that the gym gets less crowded!

Lets not fall off the cliff but take off from it and touch the sky!
