Another day and a new program

So it seems that no matter what I try recently it doesn't work. I have been eating healthy, not snacking as much during the day, and working out everyday and I still can't seem to lose any weight. So tonight I was talking to an old friend who is a beachbody coach. She has lost about 40 pds. I have always been amazed by her success in such a short period of time. So I decided to talk to my husband who told me to order the 21 day fix extreme. So I am going to try that and see if it will work. I am hoping it does because I desperately need to lose this weight. I told my husband if this program doesn't work then I need to see a nutrionalist because what I am doing is not working.

    I like 21 day fix as it teaches portion control as well. That is such a key part to weightloss. I have lots of fruits and veggies around but if I eat too much of it I don't lose weight! so frustrating! That's why I don't like the part of weight watchers that says veggies are free. Some vegetables can accrue calories really quickly the larger the portion size is! Even so, they are much bigger portion sizes than normal.

    First of all, let me say that questioning of I am truly eating healthy undermines me and doesn't support me at all. I know I am eating healthy as I am eating fruits, vegetables, salads with fresh vegetables, and lean protein. Pretty sure you can't get much healthier than that. Second, the 21 day fix is not a "crash diet". This program teaches you how to portion control while eating healthy. It also provides intense workouts. My coach lost her weight on this program and now maintains her weight by just portion control and working out, exactly what the program taught her to do.

    I also had problems losing weight; just a few small changes made all the difference. My diet did not change much. I did have to adjust portion sizes, take smaller bites, and learn to chew each bite more fully. Taking smaller bites and chewing each more before swallowing really helped engage my "I'm full" response. After each meal now I am satisfied for much longer than before.

    The other thing that helped was change my workout. Turns out my body was bored with the one I had been doing and wanted a vacation from it.

    Completely agree with maringal. You might lose weight on this program, but it's a crash diet, so you'll most likely gain it back afterwards. It's a lifestyle change, so how you lose weight is how you need to maintain your life to keep the weight off. It might be worth seeing a nutritionist regardless. I saw one and she helped a lot. Weight loss is is 80% what you eat and 20% what you do, so you need to make sure you're eating the right foods. Are you truly eating healthy?

    What worked for me didn't cost me a dime except for buying food. Actually I would refuse even to spend a penny on anything that claims it out can loose weight if you "buy our plan..." Sure you probably will lose weight, but the deal is will you be able to keep it off? That is the million dollar question! I lost 50lbs last year by eating lots of healthy food, three meals a day. If I needed a snack, I had something small and nutritious. I walked every single day, and exercised every single night in my home. This worked for me. Good luck in your journey. Just think twice before you take out your wallet...

    Yes, I agree never give up. I have been through a million plans and finally decided what works for me, my body and my conditions. You just have to figure out what works for you. Hope your new plans works for you.

    Good luck on your new program. If it doesn't work, do not give up......never, ever give up. Plus this site has great advice within all the numerous articles and videos. Stay here and learn. If you are just on a plateau, the weight will start coming off if you just don't give up. With that said, let's just keep on keeping on
