Year 2 Day 9 - Oh my...

Well that was interesting. Our local recreation center had a "New Year New Me" program for free today so I decided to try it out. First session was a warm up Zumba style so that was pretty good. 15 min done. Second session was with a trainer for a boot camp. Hmm little disappointed that the trainer did not do a good job showing modifications. She finally did after I started tweaking them myself. I mean not everyone is ready for burpees. 20 min and I was glad to be done. Third session was Zumba. Loved it. Wasn't surprised that I enjoyed that one most. They even did my favorite song. 25 min burn (highest all day) Fourth session was cycle. Hmm very little interaction again with the instructor. I've had better cycle classes but it was good to work the legs hard. 17 min Fifth session was yoga. First time for me and I think it was ok but this instructor didn't even bother learning our names and there were only a few of us. 20 min All in all I burned over 800 calories and tried some new things. I got it done.

    Sounds like a great way to add variety ti a workout. It can get boring if you don't change it up.
