Trying different foods

I have been the pickiest eater for as long as I can remember. A plain eater. I've disliked so many foods for so long, that I don't even remember what they taste like, just that I didn't like them. But taste buds can change, and motivation can help. Today as we shop for 2 weeks of groceries, I will be adding foods I've turned down for years, praying that I have aquired a taste for them! Things like beans (black, navy, etc), chick peas, quinoa, asparagus, peppers, sweet potato, among many other things. On the positive side, being a picky eater has prevented me from liking mayo or miracle whip, or even chocolate... lol Find the silver lining, eh? Lol
