Get ready for 2016!

I'm EXCITED!

Had a phenominal holiday. Did NOT stick to a meal plan AT ALL, did not get the workouts in that I wanted (gym closures, laziness and work) but...the holiday is behind us now. Lets all dust the cookie crumbs off our mouths and the gravy, the peppermint anything and prepare for 2016.

I'm not saying start today (if you are already - ahem lightningrunner - AMAZING job i am envious) but start building the foundation for a solid start. Make a plan. Create your blueprint.

Today I am meal prepping. Not out of the ordinary, but I'm working on changing my mindset out of holiday and into fresh start, start the year off with a bang, and meal prep gets me in that mode. I text messaged with my trainer..she always motivates me. I printed out motivational sayings and pictures and taped them to my wall.

I wanna be ready. I wanna keep getting excited. I am thinking about my 90 day challenge and as soon as I make the video and what exactly it entails (because the consequence of 100 squat jumps is not to be taken lightly) I will post it here! Stay tuned.

Until then, think of your resolution. Think of what you want to accomplish. Dont listen to the voice that says you wont be able to, You can do whatever you want. I'll help. Spark will help. Your team will help. We can DO it.

I promise. Now go write your blueprint.

    Yep - you can do this ... always remember not to put too much on your plate in the beginning you can add on later

    I'm looking forward to the new year, too. In October, when my cholesterol climbed to 307, I got busy! Lost weight, changed my diet, added supplements, and lowered it by 101 points. Amazing how health scare provides profound motivation! But, now for 2016, I will have to keep this momentum going or my cholesterol will climb back up. So, I guess that's going to be my goal, or resolution for the new year. Keep my numbers in healthy range and retest again around my 55th birthday in March.

    I remember when you locked in and got yourself ready for that marathon in Huntington Beach. That was huge! And you did it! You can do anything!
