looking for ketosis

This last week or so I have had the darndest time getting myself back into ketosis. I purposely upped my carb intake to shock my body (this has worked well in the past)
and now...ketosis seems to allude me. (okay let me be honest, I'm not trying as hard as I probably could)
So this is my plan. This week.. 3 more Xmas parties. I already have the menu's and when i say there is little that is low carb high fat friendly at two of these parties, there is not (and yes I know I can bring my own, but for one of them I will not because it's a small admin lunch and for this one it's just easier to take one for the team)
Next week however, Christmas week. Yeah. I'm low low LOW carb (I might even fat fast one of the days) just to get my body ready.
I'm still working out tho. Got the double inner thigh early morning charlie horse to last week to prove it! (lol) I honestly would have never thought that a "walk" and tone video could do so much in one workout to completely challenge muscles I did not even really know existed, but Leslie Sansone did it. I'm impressed.
I learned from her that you have to work out both sides of the muscle for balance. So if you work the front, you also work the back. I needed that information!
I'm up early for my cardio, but I honestly stopped with my kettlebell at work. Now that I've mentioned it, let me go pick it up and swing these hips around a lil bit.. My glutes are coming in (FINALLY) and I'm excited. Kettlebell, squats, lunges. All the time. Those I do. They are compound exercises working front AND back *cheese grin*
