Woo Hoo--Challenge Day 8

Whew, I made it to day 8--an entire week! I got in my exercise every day. Stayed on track with my diet. Boy, did I want some bread yesterday. Or chocolate. Chocolate would be nice. I did manage to get to bed at 10:30 every night, but that's not the same thing as getting to sleep. Just have to keep working on it.
We have Christmas Eve at our house every year and we celebrate Christmas Day at my son's house. Since they have a big dinner, I try to have something lighter. I've decided to make a great big salad with all the fixings and slice grilled chicken and steak on the side. I'll have a cheese and fruit platter, too.
I'm not baking any goodies this year and even got my husband on board with this. Truly a miracle. He loves everything Christmas, especially the food. But he's doing this challenge with me! He's even going to bed at 10:30, although it took him half a week to be able to go to bed so early.
