Very sweet and well said. During these times it truly is hard to see the good and be grateful for the goodness in your life. I have a "Gratitude" Diary I keep for just these days you are going through. I went to the store and picked out something all pretty, glittery and happy looking and I try to write at least 5 things per day in my journal at least three times a week. It sits on my nightstand so I can do it at the end of the day. Sometimes I can't come up with anything and those are the days you really need to try and find something to be grateful for even if its just one thing. Other days I can write more then 5 things down and do. Then when I'm having those particularly crappy days I can pick it up at night, read a couple of pages or however many I have to in order to go to bed with a smile on my face instead of a frown.
It's quite helpful I have to say and as cheesy as it sounds I find it kind of fun and a challenge especially on those crappy days. I have a tendency to see the negative in everything so this is a VERY good exercise for me personally. It's a way to change your perspective and even the way you think over time. Maybe this can be helpful to you.

I like the idea of celebrating gratitude in November. You are smart to find the blessings around you as the coming months are especially hard when you are grieving. Spark is a safe place to come to for support.
