I NEED A PLAN!

Assessment of what is bad for me:

- Computer time - I do spend hours/days sitting in front of the screen... emoticon

- Cheese - I only stop eating cheese when there is no more left in my fridge... emoticon

- Sweet potato chips/fries - I regularly eat a whole bag/batch (sometime two) in a day... emoticon

WHAT DO I PLAN TO DO ABOUT IT?

- Exercise 30 minutes/day, 6 days/week

- Track my nutrition with the SP Food Tracker emoticon

- Grocery shop more wisely (skip the cheese and salty snacks section at the store, resist the vending machine) and drink more WATER

    I too am on the computer too much and am working on that. I also like chocolate, cheese, ice cream.... I indulge in small amounts and track it BEFORE I eat it usually. I also opt for lower fat and cal chocolate like york patties or have a dove dark chocolate and savor it. My big problem, is cookies, cakes, breads and I love to bake then eat them so will have to really be diligent especially with the holidays coming!

    It is so hard to give up the things we love, but sometimes that is the only thing you can do. For me it's chocolate! I'm addicted!!! It's like a fix for me! I used to wake up in the night wanting it!! That is when I gave it up cold turkey like a drug addict. It was hard, but I managed to stay away from it for a full month! That broke the habit, but the addiction is still with me. I just don't bring it in the house! It was really hard the time I gave it up. We were living within a short drive of the Russell Stover Candy Factory Store!!!! Someone needs to make a chocolate pill for us chocoholics ; )

    Water very good.. I hated water and now I flavor my own... but I have set a time limit for myself.. I use the timer on the stove and set it for 45 mins.. Then I get up do something and after a couple of hours of moving around doing chores or exercising and normal things.. I get the points done answer only three e-mails and I am off again.. I have to Vacuum a lot.. I have three dogs so that is dust mopping and the Vac the rest.. now I am packing up cause we plan on moving so what I do not need I spend a good hour on boxing and label room and then finish stenciling.. and have to pick out the carpet for this room and I will be done... so I have a lot going on but make sure to limit yourself and make a list.. You can do this.. If I can anyone can if they want to.. Take ideas and then tweak them to fit your life.. I am here if you need help or want to ask anything..
