BOO BOO

Friday, September 25, 2015

It's been about a little over a month and I feel like I'm caring for a toddler instead of a kitten. Boo Boo has made so many boo boos that I want to put him in time out.
I'm glad that I have him but at my age [73] I should have opted for a senior cat that does nothing but sleep, eat and want the occasional pat on the head or a belly rub. He is a total handful but he remains so cute.
My friend who has Boo Boo's sister is going through the same thing. Their antics are funny and they are so cuddly and loving [most of the time].
We both are happy that we have these little devils but it sure would be nice to have a cat that doesn't do anything.

I'm sure Boo Boo is just about the perfect stage now. Our little Piper was a hyperactive ball of energy. Now she's 19 years old and barely totters around, no one can help her clean her long ratty fur, and she's getting blind we think - just watching her search around, we're pretty sure she's blind or nearly blind, maybe even deaf. She's having issues using or finding the litter box... Not going to put her down though. No different then taking care of my grandparents and my in-laws in their latter years when they had their own aging issues. Hospice at Home works great for pets too!!

Good for you. We are trying to find a dog for my dad. He is 76, but he loves dogs and has wanted one for awhile. My mother would never let him have one but since she passed away, I told him it would be good for him to get one. He wants an older dog though.
