My little old dog, Max, died yesterday. His body just couldn't do what it needed to anymore. I will miss him always.

So, so, so sorry for your loss! Max was blessed to have you as his Mommy! I still miss my Jack and he has been gone almost 3 years. I shed a few tears for him the other day. Our fur babies are forever a part of our hearts! I bought a pendant where I put some of his ashes and some of his fur because I never left home without his hair on me! The locket has a hole in a heart and that is what he left, a hole in my heart! I couldn't stand the quietness so I got a new dog and I love her too!! Never thought I could and I say "she ain't Jack", but she has nibbled her own place in my heart! Sending you oh so many hugs! I never read any of your blogs, but had caught titles on my friend freed from mutal friends of ours about Max being sick. He is at peace and I'm sure Jack and plenty of other furbabies met him on the Rainbow Bridge! Sassy sends you some licks & nibbles of sympathy. That is such a hard part of life to accept. I lost my Titan several years ago but I still think of him and miss things about him that just can't be replaced. Max will forever be part of your life, thoughts and heart. He was so lucky to have you to love him so much.

I am so sorry for your loss! It's been almost 2 years now since I lost my Susie Q. The bad grief has gone away, but not the memories. And not the love. Trust me...when the greatest pain subsides, the memories and the love will last forever!
