I listened to an interesting podcast yesterday from CutTheFat.

What I learned, I have no control over the price that nature requires for me to lose weight ~ I only have control over what I do. emoticon
Meaning, the price of weight loss is different for each one of us. By trial & error, I will figure out the price for me, then I must decide if I'm willing to pay that price.
~~ Every time I went to eat yesterday, I asked myself, 'What price are you willing to pay? Is that (food item) worth delaying your goals for?' It really helped me stay in my low range calorie goals.

The podcast also talked about breaking weight loss into parts ~ not pounds ~ in order to keep motivation, and rebound gain from going back to starting weight - - - 1. Feel good in skinny jeans 2. Feel good in a one-piece bathing suit 3. Feel good in a bikini (or whatever your goals are) Not jumping from starting point to bikini.

Also, realistically, most of us will lose 1/2 - 1 lb a week over 6 months, with scale going up, down & lateral, and that we should plan on loss (at a rate that is maintainable) to take 6 months to a year (if over 50lbs to lose)

I ONLY have control over what I DO!!! So I'm working on two things right now:
1. 10,000 + steps a day
2. Staying within my calorie range

I'm doing what I can do.
