Well THAT hurts.

Well. Yesterday was the first day of week 3 of T25. Maybe you noticed that I stopped blogging the individual days (or you didn't). That's not because I stopped doing them. It's just because I realized that I wasn't going to have much to say day by day. You're doing the same five workouts every week for five weeks. What's there gonna be to say?
Saturday's double workout was the worst. The. Worst. It was what I think are the hardest two. Ab Circuit and Lower Focus (though Shaun T will tell you Total Body Circuit is the hardest). I guess I think they're the hardest because they are both focused on specific parts of the body and you don't get to rest that part of the body ever at all during the workout. In Ab Circuit it's just abs abs abs! (sprint it out) abs abs abs!
Last night was Total Body Circuit, and while I wasn't really feeling much soreness from Saturday's workouts, it came out with a vengeance during the first lunge portion of TBC and only got worse during the squats. And the jumping squats. And the lunge/squat/lunge. Even now, the sides of my thighs are burning.
But even after that... curiosity got to me. Because a package had been delivered to work over the weekend. It contained Cize. The new dance workout from Shaun T. I decided to play the first one, just to see what it was like. Then I decided I'd do the first 10 minutes. Then I decided to just do half. Then I decided, heck, if I'd gotten that far, may as well finish. So I did all of Cize Crazy Eights and it was WONDERFUL. So fun! I was smiling and laughing to myself the whole time I was doing it. It was a blast.
Then I ate a giant salad with black beans and corn and avocado and pico de gallo, and then took a hot bath (with a bathtub beer) while listening to the new episode of the Undisclosed podcast.
Nothing has ever felt as good as that bath.
