Back at it after baby **TONS OF PICS***

Hey Sparklers!!! It's been awhile! The last time we spoke (February) I had announced my pregnancy and then went into hiding like the CIA was after me. To be honest, it wasn't you, it was me. With this being my fifth attempt at producing a little human, I put all my focus into my future bambino.
But I'm going to keep it real: my pregnancy was HARD. Not the "I can't stop vomiting and my shoes don't fit" kind of hard. It was the "Oh $%#@ I'm never doing this again!" kind of hard. First, I had a cerclage at 16 weeks. This little surgery helps my incompetent cervix stay closed so that I don't go into premature labor. Or at least, that was the idea. Fast forward to week 22 and I go in for a checkup and I am dilating and the stitch is coming loose. At that point I was admitted to the hospital. For two days I had to lay flat on my back on a reverse incline (basically my feet above my head) so that the baby and the bag of water would rescind back into place. Thankfully, that worked well enough for them to give me an emergency surgery to put in a new stitch in my cervix. Surgery went well . . . until they put me right side up and my water broke - AT 22 WEEKS and 3 DAYS!!! My husband and I were devastated and afraid that we would lose another child.
To make a long story short, we prayed the blood of Jesus over our child. We prayed relentlessly and our family, friends and church did as well. By the glory of GOD I was able to maintain my pregnancy for SEVEN weeks after my water broke. Spending nearly two months in the hospital on bed-rest sucked, but at the end of that journey, we welcomed Desmond Isaiah Brown via emergency Cesarean section. He was born July 5th (one day after Mommy's birthday) at 9:28 pm weighing in at a meager 1 lb 15 oz and 16 inches in length. Just six weeks later our little man is already 5 lbs 1 oz and 18 inches!! We gave him the name of the prophet Isaiah because that name means "The Lord is my salvation". So many times on our journey, we had to call on the Lord with those words in our mouth and now we have our beautiful boy.
