Accept Only the Best

Today I am focusing on not selling myself short, I’m going to value and treat myself with respect. So no beating myself up and I’m going to do something nice for myself instead.
1. I’m going accentuate the positive; focus on my strengths rather than my weaknesses. So today I’m going to make a list of the three things I like most about myself. Post it on my PC so I can see it often and add to it as time goes on. So a good positive attributes list will be compiled.
2. Today I should indulge my taste buds; I need to think about this, I still can’t eat solid food, so I’m thinking something mango based or a Thai soup. I will eat/drink slowly and savour the flavour.
3. Spend time with people whose positive energy nourishes me. I am also planning to try walking meditation today.
Yesterday, was a gentle reminder that I need to focus on one thing at a time and break up larger tasks into their component parts. This works so well, I just need the reminders every now and then when I start slipping towards major multitasking meltdown. I’m a Mom, so no more explanation is needed.
I had a really good meditation last night, although I failed the early night; so I will try again tonight.
